Australian bystander tackles and disarms terrorist during attack

An Australian bystander intervened during a terrorist attack on Sunday, December 14, 2025, successfully tackling and disarming one of the assailants. The incident was captured in incredible footage that shows the bystander confronting the terrorist, taking away his shotgun, and scaring him off with the weapon.

Additional drone footage revealed the terrorists being eliminated during the attack. A photo of one of the terrorists involved was also shared in connection with the incident. One of the firearms used in the attack was documented as well.
