The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) is reportedly ready to begin disarming Hezbollah in the area between the Litani and Awali rivers. This initiative is part of the second phase of the LAF"s disarmament plan.
This effort would represent an unprecedented move by the Lebanese government to disarm Hezbollah north of the Litani River.
