One year after the fall of President Bashar al-Assad, over 3.2 million Syrians have returned to their home country. The provincial distribution of these returnees includes 1.3 million refugees, with the majority coming from three host countries.
According to recent data, Turkey hosts 42% of the returning refugees, followed by Lebanon at 35%, and Jordan at 18%. Despite the significant number of returnees, many individuals are still awaiting improved economic conditions and the rebuilding of essential infrastructure in Syria.
