Venezuela has announced exploratory diplomatic talks with the United States aimed at restoring embassies and addressing the fallout from a recent U.S. military operation, which included the capture of President Nicolás Maduro.
Interim President Delcy Rodríguez stated that the discussions will be conducted through a "Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace." A delegation from the U.S. State Department has arrived in Caracas to conduct technical assessments related to the diplomatic efforts. In response, Caracas plans to send its own delegation to Washington.
This development comes amid heightened tensions between the two nations, following the military operation that resulted in Maduro"s capture. The outcome of these talks may have significant implications for U.S.-Venezuela relations.
