The World Bank has committed over $2 billion in concessional financing to Uganda for infrastructure projects from 2025 to 2028. This funding will increase the World Bank"s portfolio in Uganda to $4.9 billion.

The allocated funds will focus on various sectors, including transport, energy, information and communication technology (ICT), agriculture, and urban development projects.

This financial support is part of the World Bank"s ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and promote economic growth in Uganda.
