A Lebanese judicial source reported to Al-Hadath that security forces suspect the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad of kidnapping retired General Security Captain Ahmed Shukr in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. The agency officials believe this incident may be connected to the disappearance of Israeli pilot Ron Arad in Lebanon in 1986.
According to the report, Captain Ahmed Shukr was lured from Nabi Chit to the highlands of Zahle, where he was subsequently abducted.
This incident adds to the ongoing tensions in the region, with previous reports highlighting similar situations involving intelligence operations and abductions.
